Hi, we are the family of Lonnie Krueger — a sweet, strong 9-year-old boy who has been through an incredibly difficult medical journey.

Lonnie lives with autism, ADHD, ODD, ARFID, eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), and infantile scoliosis. On March 14, 2025, he underwent surgery to have a G-tube placed to help with his feeding challenges. Unfortunately, instead of helping, it led to weeks of pain, repeated complications, and emotional trauma.

The tube’s internal balloon burst four times, almost once a week. Then, on April 18, Lonnie had to undergo emergency exploratory surgery, where doctors found a metal T-fastener backing left behind during the original procedure — something that was supposed to pass naturally, but didn’t.

Just days after surgery, the tube failed again. With no clear explanation left, we made the hard decision to have the G-tube removed to protect Lonnie from further harm — both physically and mentally.

This has been a deeply emotional time for our family. We’re doing all we can to help Lonnie recover, but the toll is growing. We've missed work to be by his side, and we’re now struggling to afford the travel needed for medical appointments and therapy — both essential to his recovery. On top of that, we are in urgent need of vehicle repairs so we can safely get Lonnie to the care he needs.

We are asking for help to cover:

Lost income from time off work

Vehicle repairs for safe transportation to his ongoing care

A small bit of breathing room to focus on Lonnie’s healing
