Harkin’s House Fire

Donation protected
March 1st a fire consumed the home of the Harkins family in the Wildwood community near Houston. The Harkins Family and their dog, Libby, were out of town visiting family when a neighbor informed them the house was on fire and they had called 911. Unfortunately, the wind was strong and the fire quickly engulfed most of the home. Michael and Kelly are native Houstonians and both graduated from Cy-Fair High School and are Alumni of Texas A&M. They have 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy, Ella 7, Evey 5, Alexander 3, Eden 17months. They are in immediate need for funds as they only have what they packed for a long weekend trip. Sadly, this is not the first time the Harkins family has experienced a fire. 4 years ago during the Houston Memorial Day floods, the home they had for a decade burnt down. Because of the flooding around their home they had evacuated and were able to save some belongings. After staying in rental homes for a couple years, moving to Wildwood was the first home that finally felt like home again. Every donation is greatly appreciated for this sweet family.
