As many of you know, our dear friends' little girl, Elsa, has been in the hospital for over a year now, facing numerous health challenges with incredible bravery and strength. She has shown resilience beyond her years but the emotional and financial toll of this journey is becoming overwhelming for her and her family.

In recent months, Elsa has been transferred to Leicester Hospital for more specialised care. While this move is necessary for her treatment, it has meant that her family is now spending much of the week apart. Elsa’s mum now lives at the hospital and her dad and brother are only able to visit her on weekends which has added a significant strain on their time, finances, and overall well-being.

In addition to the emotional strain of being separated during the week, the financial burden has also become a major challenge. With the family needing to stay in hotels during their visits, the costs of accommodation, food, and travel have quickly mounted up.
