On the morning of December 14th, tragedy struck a family of five. In the blink of an eye, fire ravaged their home, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Lawrence, his wife Charlene, and their 3 kids in Northern Saskatchewan are staying between 2 families who have opened their hearts and homes to them at this difficult time.

We are all grateful they were able to escape the flames unharmed - but they have lost everything they own - family memories, cherished belongings, and the roof over their heads.

They are facing unimaginable hardship, and are starting from scratch without insurance or savings to rebuild their lives. With your help we can ensure they don't have to face this challenge alone.

How you can help:

Immediate essentials - The road to recovery will be long, and they need our support to get through it. Donations to this fund will go directly to helping them cover immediate needs, such as clothing and essentials. Shoes, toiletries, food and supply donations will help provide meals, clothing and everyday items that are no longer accessible due to the fire.

Re-building their home - While they work on finding a long-term solution, any funds raised will also contribute to rebuilding their future. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping them get back on their feet.

Thank you to the local Co-op for the gift of jackets and boots in the middle of winter, to the local hotel that offered immediate refuge, to the families that have made space for them in their homes, and to the community members that have provided emergency and immediate response.
