Help Rebuild Nina's Life After a Double Tragedy
Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share that our beloved first cousin, Nina, has experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Just days ago, her world was turned upside down when a devastating house fire took everything she owned-her home, her belongings, and her beloved dog, Gizmo, who meant the world to her and her children.
As if that loss weren’t enough, the same night brought an even deeper heartbreak - her husband, died by suicide.
There are no words to fully capture the pain and shock our family is feeling right now. Nina and her children are navigating grief, trauma, and the complete loss of the life she built all at once. She now faces the daunting task of starting over from nothing, while carrying the heavy weight of emotional devastation.
We are asking for your support through means of donations of any amount to help Nina and her children through this dark time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go toward:
Immediate basic needs (clothing, food, hygiene items);
Temporary and long-term housing and relocation expenses;
Counseling and mental health support; and
Rebuilding her life, step by step.
Please consider sharing this link and keeping Nina and her children in your thoughts and prayers.
In times like this, we turn to our faith for strength. Revelation 12:11 reminds us:
“They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.”
We believe that even in the midst of such overwhelming sorrow, there is hope in Nina’s s story; though marked by deep pain, it is not over. By sharing it, we are claiming the promise of healing, of overcoming, and of God’s power to bring beauty from ashes. Her journey forward, supported by community, compassion, and prayer, will one day be part of a testimony that inspires and uplifts others.
Thank you for showing Nina and her children that they are not alone in this. Together, we can help them find hope and healing after this unimaginable loss.
With sincere gratitude,
Terwana, Terri, and Family
