Support For Stacey's Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Last week, at 44 years old, Stacey L. Lindblad was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Stacey brings laughter, love and support to so many of our lives including young kids. This will be Stacey's 17th year in education and her fourth year in Loudoun County teaching. She has her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a math and science concentration from Old Dominion University, and her M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Averett University. She has taught many different math and science classes throughout her teaching career and is looking forward to teaching both Physical Science and Life Science at Seneca Ridge. Stacey brings so much love and compassion to her students that her kids just adore her.
I call upon you all to reciprocate this in her time of need.
This is going to be the greatest challenge of her life, but I have full faith that she is going to overcome this and will continue teaching because its her passion and drive to be the best teacher she can be in loudoun county.
She is still going through testing and I will post updates here once we know more information. Stacey has a loving family that will be with her every step of the way. Her daughter Emily is at CNU college completing her last year so she will be checking in here and there. Her son Matthew just left for the Coast Guard and is on a journey of his own but is still worried and concerned for his mom but will also be checking in here and there. I ask that you contact Linda Belcher or myself via Facebook message if you have questions or want to send her anything.
Thank god she has health insurance , but that doesn't nearly cover all of the expenses she and her family will incur. Due to the fact that teaching requires physical, mentally and strength/health she will not be able work while undergoing chemotherapy & radiation.
Battling cancer is a long and VERY expensive journey. Please donate what you can and send all your love, prayers and positive energy. Every contribution, large or small will make a difference.
Thank you all for your love and support!
Dana
