For 16 years, Vermonters for a Clean Environment  has helped raise the voices of Vermonters and hold corporations accountable for their actions.  Special interests who are profiting at the expense of others attemped to silence the Executive Director, Annette Smith.  The effort failed, in part thanks to citizens who raised a ruckus and also made substantial donations to support VCE during the AG investigation.  Thank you!

Though the investigation is over, it has shown the power of the people  to take a stand against special interests.
