VCDA 6035 Hurricane Ian Relief Funds

Donation protected
The Volusia County Deputies Association (IUPA 6035) represents the men and women who serve as Deputy Sheriffs for the Volusia Sheriff's Office, Volusia County, FL.

The flooding from Hurricane Ian caused major damage and destruction to homes across Volusia County.

Unfortunately, some of our deputies came home from long shifts helping others to find they were facing major damage of their own.

Sheriff Chitwood and the Volusia Sheriff’s Foundation are working to ensure urgent financial assistance is sent to those dealing with the most significant damage. There will be substantial ongoing expenses as our deputies look to rebuild their homes that sustained extensive damage from the flood waters associated with Hurricane Ian. Therefore, we’re also accepting donations from anyone who wants to help.

All donations will help our deputies and their families pay for damage not covered by other means, as they must rebuild homes and replace furniture, clothing and personal belongings. All donated monies are tax-deductible as they will be dispersed by the Volusia Sheriff's Foundation, a 501C3.

Thank you for supporting the men and women of the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, who have done so much for us during this storm!
