Help Harley Get the Surgery She Needs
Donation protected

This is Harley! She is a teacup Pomeranian, which means she’s even more fragile. She’s only 6 months old, born April 1st of 2024, weighs under 6lbs.
On Sept 26th, just over a month ago, I went to set Harley down using one hand and she decided to jump and landed on the tile, immediately snapping her little arm. I rushed over to the closest emergency vet and got a splint put on. $1200 later, we were on our way home with some pain meds. I took her back once a week for a bandage change ($90 each visit) until she hit the 4-week mark and we got X-rays done ($300)
Because she’s so tiny, she hasn’t built enough calcium between her bones and now needs surgery. I don’t have pet insurance, so it’s going to be a pricey fix.
A fractured radius can only be performed by an orthopedic surgeon and there aren’t many hospitals around me that offer this service. They want $6,000 just for this procedure alone. I’m already having a difficult time affording normal things in life, so this is definitely making matters worse. My only options at this point are surgery or amputation, because after waiting too long, the arm will be deemed inoperable and they will have to cut it off. We definitely don’t want that for our little princess!
My 11-year-old daughter and I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide!
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL!!
