Medical Fund for Baby Isaac

Hi friends! I would like your help in raising funds for my best friend of 25 years, Linda Rosales Quiroz, to purchase a cranial helmet for her son Isaac who has Deformational Plagiocephaly with slight Brachycephaly and Torticollis;
Deformational plagiocephaly, also known as positional plagiocephaly, means a mis-shapen or uneven (asymmetrical) head shape.
Since an infant’s skull is so soft and malleable, there are many factors that can contribute to plagiocephaly:
· Position of the baby in the womb, especially in cases of multiple births
· Premature birth
· Torticollis which is the tightening of the neck muscles
Baby Isaac and his brother Isaiah were born 6 weeks premature on November 1, 2014. Isaiah was born healthy with no complications. However, Isaac was in the lower position of the uterus which caused his misshapen head and suffers from torticollis on the right side of his neck. Please see the attachments for Isaac’s actual medical records.
Linda has medical insurance, but it will not cover the helmet. The fund will be used to cover the cranial helmet. Linda has 5 children and with the oldest child heading to college (Texas A&M Corpus Christi) in the fall this is an extreme financial hardship for the family. Having this helmet would ensure that Isaac has a healthy future. Your help to accomplish this is greatly appreciated.
