VC Private Voice Studio, SFA Choir Camp Scholarship

Hello all,

Thank you for taking the time to review this scholarship fundraiser. It means a lot to me and I know that your contribution will mean the world to the recipient of this award. Growing up, I had an overwhelming amount of support from my family and friends to pursue my dreams of becoming a successful singer and private voice teacher. Now that I am here, thanks to you all, I would love to extend my support to a well deserving student of mine.

The funds raised in this gofundme will be presented to the chosen student as the "VCPVS Choir Camp Scholarship." The $470 will cover the cost of attending the Stephen F. Austin State University All-State Choir Camp, the All-State music Packet ordered from J.W. Pepper, necessities to stay on campus, and/or transportation costs.

Here's a breakdown:

SFA All-State Choir Camp - $390

The All-State music packet ordered from J.W. Pepper - $30

Funds to purchase dorm necessities / Transportation - $50

Total - $470

The student I have chosen to receive this award is someone who has proven themselves to be dedicated to their artistry, communicates an eagerness to continue their music education, and satisfies the grade requirements to compete in the All-State competition. Over the school year, I've had the privilege of watching this student grow not only in their musicianship, but in their blossoming personality as well. It would be my privilege to help this student attend camp, and I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards anyone who finds the generosity to contribute to this fund. $470 is the goal, but whatever amount I'm able to raise within the next week will go toward the student's scholarship. If we exceed this goal by at least $50, I will be presenting another scholarship to the second student that I have in mind. Both are more than deserving.
