I am in need of a new home. I had a planned move with a friend back down to the metro Detroit area, and everything has gone wrong with it.

The plan was to move back down in May. I had gotten a new job, was supposed to start back May 27, and had to push it back to June 2nd.

The person that I was going to move with had assured me everything would be alright, despite my reservations of wanting to take a year to get everything saved up. They have since dropped the ball after my last day of my old job and had informed me that there is no place, and I no longer have a place of my own lined up. I have a plan in the mean time, but it is temporary at best.

I am doing my best to save as much as possible so I can have a place of my own as soon as possible. If my current apartment was close enough I would just resign the lease, but it is an hour drive from where I work and I rely on public transportation.

This situation is not ideal. I wish I had simply just stuck with my year plan. Any little bit helps, thank you.
