The Evanchick Family

We are asking our community to rally around the Evanchick family as they walk through a difficult season.

Unless you’ve known him for 20+ plus years, you may not know that Tim has epilepsy. Gratefully, he has been seizure free for over 15 years thanks to medication and an implant similar to a pacemaker, called a Vagal Nerve Stimulator.

On Saturday, his VNS device failed and he began having multiple seizures. He is now having several seizures a day and he is currently unable to work. He has already been referred to a neurosurgeon and is hopeful that surgery can happen within the next six to eight weeks to replace the device.

Tim has always worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Due to a recent job change and relocation, he has no paid leave available. So in addition to the medical concerns, this has presented a significant financial challenge for the family.

More than anything, Tim and Sara would be grateful for your prayers. We also hope to ease their burden with financial support to help cover the family’s immediate expenses while Tim awaits and then recovers from surgery. Please consider giving toward this goal.
