Thank you for taking your time to continue reading this very important issue :)

This is Wayne Granger. He is 52 years old and will be 53 on July 19th. He grew up in Cazenovia and is now living in Peterboro New York.

He has a beautiful wife named Yvonne. She is 50 years old and will be 51 on May 23rd. They have been happily married for 26 years and their anniversary is August 12th.

He has two children. His oldest child is Tadd. He is 26 years old and will be 27 on March 18th. He graduated in 2008 and continues to work just as hard as his father did. Always working with family. The Granger family stays stong.

His youngest child is Brittney. She is 21 years old and will be 22 on December 5th. She graduated in 2013 and continues to work as a CNA.

Wayne grew up working all the time. 2 or 3 jobs at a time. He found himself cooking. After working in so many restaurants he learned that cooking was his life. So chef it was. Cooking was his dream. About 6 or 7 years ago that all changed. He decided to take a break from cooking and work with his brother and his son in a factory. He loved it. But what happened next ruined his chances of enjoying it. He noticed that his breathing started to bother him. He came to find out he had asthma. For years he lived with the fact that he wouldn't be able to breath the same. He went in and out of the hopsital for years. Having to wear oxygen on and off for a couple years. It was a hard task to live with but he managed. We thought it was getting better.

In 2015, in the month of September, Wayne ended up in the hospital with breathing issues and figured that was the only issue. So they sent him home. But a month later he noticed something changed. He had fluid on his heart and his legs. So into the hospital he went. When you notice extra fluid on your body, doctors suspect maybe issues with the heart. No one was expecting it. They took an Echo of his heart and come to find out, sometime in the past 3 years he had a heart attack. People with asthma sometimes don't notice they are having a heart attack because being short of breath or having an asthma attack could be signs of having a heart attack. They found out that his heart was only working 25%. Everything was changing for the worst.

He was sent to Crouse immediately. After almost two weeks of staying in the hospital and taking lots of tests, they sent him home with a vest that works like a pace maker until the insurance agreed to pay for his surgery. The road to recovery sure can be a bumpy ride. As time went on, with check ups his heart dropped to 21%. Finally, 3 months passed and they scheduled his surgery. On February 23rd he got his surgery to get a pace maker. After 4 hours of waiting and waiting, the surgery was finally over. There was only one issue. One wire wouldn't stay. So that meant open heart surgery. So after waiting about two weeks they scheduled the next surgery. So now on March 7th he will be getting his last surgery (hopefully).

Having issues with your lungs and heart is a big issue. And with this big issue Wayne hasn't been able to work. So the main reason for this gofundme account is helping a family survive to keep their house and keep living the life they deserve. As of right now his wife Yvonne is working as many hours as she can with his surgery and appointments being scheduled. She has used all of her vacation and sick time. So the time she uses to go to his appointments and to stay at the hospital with him, she isn't getting paid. They are two months behind on their morgage. They have a $500 light bill for heating the house with heaters. They don't have enough money to buy fuel to stay warm. It's hard when working isn't an option. So with the money that I attempt to get with this, I'm hoping that they will be able to pay off some bills and use some to heat their house and pay for the time that Yvonne isn't getting paid for at work.

Funds are needed as soon as possible. I'm not asking for much. Just a little help for people who need it. This would mean so much to them. They have never asked for help while raising their children or dealing with the issues that they are dealing with now. They are known to take people in and help them. It would mean so much just for a little help. Even $5 dollars would be something. I hope I didn't waste anyones time with this but I'm really hoping my effort worked. I really do appreciate anyone who helps. Thank you so much. God Bless. Updates will be made as progress goes on. Please pray for his surgery on Monday. Please pray. <3
