This is the story of an angel, and also a story about the terrible place that Mexico has become.
The angel's name is Alondra Suarez Montaño, she is my best friend from college and I really truly love her.
My name is Christopher, it had been a while since we last saw each other as I had to flee the city where we met because of the recent horrible things that have been going on here in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
The government is corrupt and the cartels are taking over. So our family moved to California, USA leaving a home, a business and a lifetime of good memories.
Last week Alondra contacted me with the incredible news that she had to come to California to visit her aunts, uncles and cousins. So we took over the opportunity to see each other and catch up with each other's life.
The tragedy occurred when on her way back from Mexico city's airport to her hometown Cuernavaca, Morelos, she and her parents suffered a terrible car accident, taking both her parents lifes and leaving her on the death line in a local private hospital.

She has a younger brother, Mauricio, which was left alone and in great grieve.
Alondra is getting better at the hospital, they have done a great job saving her life and now is time to pay the bills and get ready for a long term therapy, physically, mentally and emotionally as she was the one driving the car. The cause of the accident is unknown.
