Help support D'onte Taylor

My name is Jacqueline Stokes and I am raising funds for my son D'onte Taylor medical and living expenses. On February 24, 2024 D'onte suffered multiple life threatening injuries due to a violent domestic attack with a shot gun. D'onte was taken to Centra Southside hospital where he had to be stabilzed first in order to be med flighted to MCV hospital ICU trauma unit. D'onte received multiple surgeries to repair a broken Humerous on his left arm, a collapsed left lung, and severe damage to his stomach. Due to the severity of his injuries the trauma team of doctors had to remove over half of his stomach, and place plates and screws in his left arm. D'onte was placed on a breathing machine until his lungs could inflate on their own. D'onte has a long road of recovery of ahead of him. D'onte will require physical therapy to get back the use of his left arm, hand, and fingers. He is currently receiving on going medical treatment. Also, he will definitely need emotional and psychological support and treatment from a professional team for this unforseen occurrence. D'onte was a hard working independent young man before this incident. I thank you in advance for all your prayers and donations.
