Hi! About 4 days ago, my fur baby Milo started having diarrhea, which was common. Usually, he'll have an upset stomach due to a treat or something, but it would resolve after one episode. This was different; nothing seemed to help. After 3 episodes, I decided to start a bland diet to reset his tummy. He still had diarrhea for a few days following. His appetite was still good, so I wasn't too worried. He seemed to have been getting better until yesterday when he started vomiting along with the diarrhea. He started throwing up, having diarrhea, and became lethargic. His gums turned white and swollen, then his eyes followed. I started to worry and took him to the hospital where I explained what had been going on.

So far, he's been hospitalized for his condition. The doctor believes it to be a bowel obstruction, and we don't really know how long it'll be. The doctor says it could be one day but could very well be several. So far, this is the treatment plan for now (attached), but we're unsure if more will be needed.

Updates will be given about every 2-3 hours by staff. So far, this is the only update I've gotten: he's on an IV and a cone to keep him from irritating his bum further from the diarrhea, along with monitoring for seizure activity.
