ALS Team Zuelke

Stephanie Zuelke Thompson and Wolf Zuelke, sister and brother, lost their dad, Ed Zuelke, to ALS nearly four years ago. Now, Stephanie has been diagnosed with ALS, at age 47, as well as breast cancer, for which she recently underwent surgery to be followed by treatment. Familial ALS occurs in just 10% of cases, so Steph and Wolf are traveling to Boston in August to participate in a huge ALS study through the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), associated with Massachusetts General Hospital.  They will be paying for their own air fare, hotel, and meals while there. Funds exceeding the goal will be applied toward Stephanie's ongoing medical care as well as a donation to ALS TDI.
