Hello Family, Friends & kind Strangers. First I want to take the opportunity to thank you for reading our post. Our family is truly grateful for all the love & support we have received during this truly heart wrenching difficult time. We do not know where we would be without you.
The purpose of this gofundme is for our son Xavier Ortiz . As some of you may already know Xavier or as he likes to be called X suffered a devastating stroke back in mid April 2021. This has not only turned our world upside down but of course his as well. We are a very close 'Brady Bunch" family and all love each other very much.
A little about this amazing human I get to have the honor to call my son. X is your average 20 year old "kid" or man lol (not sure if he would like me to call him a kid). He loves many things but his top 3 are Basketball, Natasha (his girlfriend) & his family! Somewhere in there is his love for his grandma's cooking as well. X is a HUGE sports fanatic (favorite player in basketball is Devin Booker). He is a loving kid with an amazing heart. Before his injury he was well on his way to obtain an apprenticeship to become an Electrician. He has big dreams & we know he will accomplish them one day.
We are seeking help from anyone to cover medical expenses that may not be covered through insurance & for the assistance to help modify our home to bring Xavier home. We will need to do major modifications to assist through this journey of recovery & some expenses are just not covered through insurance. He is currently inpatient at an acute rehabilitation hospital & when he is ready to be released we would like to bring him home.
We reach out to the community humbly. We ask for your help; help us give Xavier what he needs & deserves.
