Fighting with Phil

Hi, my name is Cheri. I am starting this GoFundMe as a way to fundraise for a friend who has become family to me. He is very near and dear to my heart! Phil is one of my Sunday "Church" Funday OG's from when I worked at the Basin/Mugz's Hideout/Horns & Halos. Whether you refer to him as "Uncle Phil," "Dr. Phil," or just Phil, you know that he brings lots of laughter, inappropriate banter, tasty cookies, carmels, brownies, puffy cheetos and just a plain old good time. Phil has always been the type of guy to lend a helping hand, and now he needs all of our helping hands. Phil has been diagnosed with lung cancer that is now spreading. In the recent months, he has been in and out of the emergency room and hospitals, and has had countless doctor's appointments. As you can imagine, the bills are starting to rack up. As if this isn't enough, he has had multiple household items stop working. This has put him and his beautiful wife Sally under enormous amounts of stress, and I would like to be able to help take some of the weight off of their shoulders. I have been going to the Basin for the last 15 years and met some of the most fantastic people that I now consider my family. I have also made some great friends. Right now I have cancer spreading through out my body. The doctors told me I probably will not make it to the end of the year, but I told them to go to hell! I plan on living longer than that. Barring a miracle or this immunotherapy working, they may be right. Things are difficult right now, so any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you, it means a lot!
