What happens when a farmer commits suicide? Alot of people don't know because it's not something that's talked about much.

But I saw a program on the news channel very recently about these families & I got to know that they are not even able to buy basics things, including their children's education. It was slaughtering my heart and I chose to do something for them.

I'm collecting the funds for the education of the children of these families in India. Because of many reasons (like no rains, high interest rates on their loans, duplicate seeds, pesticides) thousands of small farmers, over 300,000 fathers till date, are committing suicide every year.  After the primary earning person dies his family is in a much worse place than before and his children have to quit school and work in the fields to sustain their family. 

I have a list of these families affected and we will be using the funds for purchasing essential things for instruction like books, school bags, shoes, notebooks and pens, etc. I will provide the proof of each and every dollar used and photos of the children and our delivery of the school supplies to them.  

This has alot of meaning to me as even I originated from a farmer's family. I know the burden an agriculturist faces to give training to their children with little income.

By helping these children receive a basic education you are giving these children the ability to very much improve their lives. I am thankful to every last one of you; me and the kids will never at any point overlook your assistance.
