On the 12th of November 2022, Vayda Lynn Steed, our daughter was called into heaven. Words can’t describe how devastated we are by our sudden loss.

Everything about Vayda was perfect from her head full of hair, to her little nose and her little toes.

The thought of Vayda arriving in January brought so much happiness to all of our lives. We had everything prepared and ready for her homecoming and our world suddenly turned upside down.

No words can begin to describe the torture we are going through. A life she was not able to live, all the plans we have made for her and our family.. Vayda’s life will forever be honored.

Our son Kamren woke up everyday rubbing my belly and would give her such a happy “good morning sister”. He checked on her, he hugged her, he drew pictures of our family, told which hairstyles she would look so beautiful in.. Delivering the message to our 5 year old was and still is something that hurts so much. He was so anxious to meet his sister. So happy to know that she was almost here.. and for good. In his words, “my heart is so broken”.

He is his sisters keeper and she is his angel. And I pray he holds onto this amazing love he grew.

We would like to give our daughter Vayda a beautiful home going service.

She’s our angel now.

We will have a home-going ceremony at Oak grove Cemetery on November 28th, 2022 at 10am.

In honor of Vayda please wear pastel colors preferably lavender.
