Help Mary Rebuild her Home
Donation protected
We are asking for help for one of our own. As we have heard on the news the wildfires in Colorado were devastating to many families, including one of our own. Megan Barry (SE extraordinaire) got a call from her mom Mary that their family home was now gone.
On New Year’s Eve, while the world was planning how to celebrate the incoming year, Megan was flying to CO to try to help her mom. When she got her mom settled into a hotel, she went to see the damage.

Megan who lives in western Mass with her husband and son (5), is traveling back and forth as they try to find a place for her mom to stay long term, Fire is devastating, it’s more than just the loss of a home and all the memories there. While insurance will eventually help there are a ton of expenses that Mary,(Megan’s mom, her Dad passed earlier in 2021), is already trying to balance, hotel, clothing, travel, food, pet supplies etc.
Some additional information:
Mary Barry lost her home in the Marshall Fire, Colorado's most destructive wildfire ever. She was able to grab a few family heirlooms before evacuating with her dog. However, everything else is gone.
She has been a resident of Louisville, Colorado for over 40 years, raised a family here, and actively participates in the Louisville community. Tom, her husband of 47 years, passed away earlier this year and with the added uncertainty of the total loss of her home, she needs support from her community more than ever.
Please consider donating to help ease the financial pressure of this devastating loss so she can focus on rebuilding her life.
Thank you,
Ashley
