Vaughn's Journey:Health crisis at 21

My name is Jessica, my second born Raylee, prefers to go by Vaughn she is 21 yrs old, is one of the greatest people I know. Maybe I'm bias because she is mine but she really is amazing. She's ran into a major curve ball in this thing called Life and we could really use your help! Whether it's a share or a donation, anything helps!

On March 30th she went to the ER after having chest and rib pains and shortness of breath for about 3 days. After X-rays and a CT scan they found blood clots in her lungs and the arteries in her stomach. There was also "dark spots" on her kidneys. They of course admitted her. They also noticed her lymphnodes were extremely swollen. They had never seen someone so young with these conditions. After a couple days of not knowing what was going on they did a biopsy on her lymphnodes on April 1st by April 3rd they told her that there wasn't enough tissue from the biopsy that they had to send it to the outside lab but her next step would be to get a PET scan. April 4th they discharged her, with no diagnosis, no idea what was going on. She was discharged with pain medicine and and blood thinners.

Saturday April 4th she received an email with results, no call after either to further explain them, the diagnosis was Metastatic Neuroendocrine tumor. Metastatic means it's more than likely in other places and we won't know exactly where til after the PET scan April 25th.

Vaughn is pretty much uninsured, we will definitely be working towards full Medicaid but that can take up to 90days and we just can't wait. Our main focus today is financial help for the PET scan which we don't have an exact but as soon as I get that number I will definitely update

Vaughn also lost her job so any financial help will go towards her everyday life, medications, transportation to appointments ETC until we can see about social security disability etc. so regardless she could really use the help financially
