Study Abroad in Vienna Austria
Donation protected
Hello All,
For a total of six weeks I have the oppurtunity to immerse myself in the foreign culture of Vienna Austria!
Traveling is a vital part of my practice and to have the oppurtunity to do so this summer while also receiving college credit is a dream turned reality.
While abroad I will travel to numerous destinantions including Venice, Italy to the La Biennale di Venezia - 57th International Art Exhibition and Kassell Germany for documenta 14 .
I will have the oppurtunity to gain meaninful connections, strengthen my knowledge of art and its histories and engage the global world of contemporary art.
These are just a couple highlights of this endeavor that can be made possible by your considerable donations.
"In a world full of conflicts and jolts, in which humanism is being seriously jeopardized, art is the most precious part of the human being. It is the ideal place for reflection, individual expression, freedom and fundamental questions. It is a “yes” to life, although sometimes a “but” lies behind. More than ever, the role, the voice and the responsibility of the artist are crucial in the framework of contemporary debates" -Christine Macel
Best of wishes,
Vaughn T. Davis
