Help Us Bring Our Beloved Uncle Home to Ukraine

Our family is going through one of the most difficult times of our lives.

Our beloved uncle, Vasyl, came to Canada from Ukraine with hope — hope for treatment, more time, and a chance to fight his melanoma. He showed incredible strength and courage throughout his journey. Unfortunately, despite undergoing immunotherapy, his cancer has progressed, and he is now in hospice care in Red Deer, in the final stage of his life.

As a family, our deepest wish is to honor him in the way he deserves — by bringing him home to Ukraine, where he can be laid to rest in his homeland, surrounded by his roots, his culture, and the place he loved.

Repatriating his body to Ukraine is a complex and costly process. It involves specialized funeral services, international transportation, and legal documentation. The cost is far beyond what our family can manage alone during this already heartbreaking time.

We are asking for your support to help us fulfill this final wish.
