Una din cele mai bune echipe de Dragon Boat din Republica Moldova are nevoie de ajutorul nostru. Clubul sportiv „Vulturii” practică Dragon Boat la Drochia, iar în cinci ani a câștigat peste 10 medalii de aur, 8 de argint și 6 de bronz la campionate internaționale. Anul acesta campionatul European de Dragon Boat se va desfășura pe data de 23 - 26 august în Branderburg, Germania, doar că după un an de pregătiri sportivii noștri nu au bani ca să meargă la competiție.

În toți acești ani „Vulturii” de la Drochia au supraviețuit datorită ajutorului părinților, businessului local sau a contribuțiilor private. Așa se întâmplă că 50 de copii care se anternează zi de zi pentru a ne reprezenta țara, ajung în fiecare an cu mâna întinsă pentru dorința de a face ce pot ei mai bine, sport. Haideți să-i susținem, dacă statul nu mai este interesat de ei. Fiecare contribuție și încurajare înseamnă că munca acestor sportivi de performanță nu este în zadar. Cei 35 de sportive au nevoie de un buget minim pentru cazare, mâncare și transport, în rest ei sunt foarte pregatiți de competiție.

A recognized young Dragon Boat team from Moldova needs your help. The sport club “Vulturii” is training in Drochia for the upcoming European Dragon Boat Nations Championships. This team is formed by really devoted and capable individuals, with a sport conduct up to the highest levels. Even if they did not have access to modern equipment, having to use outdated wooden paddles, this team has always represented Moldova at its best. In 5 years, they have earned 10 gold medals, 8 silver, and 6 bronze in international competitions.

This year’s European competition will take place in Branderburg, Germany, during the third week of August. Unfortunately, our team doesn’t have money enough to participate. In previous years, “Vulturii” financed the competition dues through the generous contributions of the team members’ families, local businesses, and other private contributions. 35 youngsters who train every day had also to find resources to keep representing the people of Moldova. If their own country is no longer interested in promoting these capable and devoted kids, then we should help them. Your contribution and encouragement means the world to them. 35 sportsmen very much need the very minimum budget to cover their meals, lodging, and transportation to the competition. They need to go not only to compete, but to keep believing that in life, hard work and commitment are paid back.
