Vasko Stankovic and Family

This fundraiser has been started in support of Vasko Stankovic and Family.

Vasko was unfortunately the victim of a violent carjacking and physical attack while working as a driver for a major rideshare service in the early morning of Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Vasko was hospitalized briefly as a result of the attack and while he is fortunately home resting with family, he will continue to be under medical supervision for the near future due to ongoing health concerns relating to this attack.

Vasko is a proud husband and the father of 7 young children, including a child with special needs. He is a talented musician and his work as a driver has been a primary source of income.

Although police have recovered his vehicle, fees relating to towing and costs relating to repairing damages as a result of the carjacking are among the unexpected challenges the family faces, in addition to the medical expenses and loss of income as Vasko recovers.

All funds collected in this GoFundMe campaign will go directly Vasko Stankovic and Family.

I have been fortunate enough to know Vasko and his family for several years and I have seen how they loving extend their hands to help those around them. It is heartbreaking to see someone like Vasko fall victim to such a violent criminal act while he was simply trying his best to provide for his family.

Please share what you are able financially and most importantly say a prayer for Vasko and his family who are continually guided and supported by their strong Orthodox faith.
