Vascos Creative Teaching Workshop

Hello everybody,

my name is mwoyo and I'm fundraising for my friend Vasco. He's a wonderful dancer and performer with a big vision: Establishing a creative workshop, teaching and innovating in rural areas in Mozambique.

Vasco's Vision in his Words:

creative workshop - teaching and innovating in rural areas

It is a dance workshop with the aim of gathering knowledge, creating and learning for the development of culture in rural areas in Mozambique.

As it develops, art will be a tool to educate and motivate communities in rural areas, Read, write and create through dance to fight poverty and illiteracy fro the culture development in rural areas of the Mozambique community.

With the workshop I would like to introduce modern and contemporary knowledge into African culture brought to rural areas, African dance practice used contemporary and modern methods of understanding and moving as a way to innovate, develop, create favorable ways of living in urban communities.

I have followed some projectors focused on settlement in rural areas that offer material goods such as food, clothing, etc. And my goal is knowledge and education. Introduced modernism and contemporary in African cultures will innovate to be creative and create their own ways to survive creating its own education and development for the poor and illiteracy in rural areas

• Open a space where we can create and do street demonstrations with the creative youth group within the community.

• Create technical assistance to publish the work and prosper so that it continues and inspires other young people in other communities.
