Hi everyone! My name is Varun Virlan. For my 30th birthday on February 9th, I’m raising funds for Save & Care Sanctuary in Portugal, a place that’s very close to my heart.

I spent a few days there in the summer of 2025, and it deeply moved me. Every animal at the sanctuary has a story: of neglect, escape, survival, and finally, safety. Meeting them and hearing what they’d been through was unforgettable.

The sanctuary is run by my friends Noel and Alice, who pour their blood, sweat, and tears into caring for these animals every single day. They’ve created a place of real compassion, healing, and dignity for animals who had nowhere else to go.
