The Shonda Schilling Fastpitch Softball Complex was dedicated in May of 2008!
Since then, many school & town employees, as well as private citizens like students & parents have put in a lot of hard work, keeping our facility in great shape over the years, and because of that hard work, our field is always recognized as one of the best in the TVL!
Who will forget the TVL Title the girls brought home in 2019? The first league title since 1986! Our program has the great combination of recent success and meaningful tradition.
A new chapter has begun in the fall of 2020. It has been 12 years since the infield has been "recapped" with fresh infield clay. The mix used for the recent resurfacing (11/17/20) is the same infield mix used at Fenway Park!
Phase 1 of this 3 part renovation was authored by STS: https://www.sportsturfspecialties.com/ and they did an incredible job, but there is still work to be done and we need your help.
The Medfield High School Softball program would like to thank our private investors who helped us during Phase 1, but now we need your help raising our portion of the money.
It is a little too cold for a car wash right now, but rest assure, we will be out there come Spring 2021 when things warm up. In the meantime, please donate what you can to help us with our renovation project. A little goes a long way.
