Varner Family: Support for Sickle Cell Battles

Hello,

My name is Caprice Varner-Gooch, this is my family and it was laid on my heart to start a go fund me to assist during such a difficult time in their lives. Vicktor Varner is my first cousin and it hurts my heart to watch his children suffer and to see how he and his wife, Brittany, have to be so strong when faced with the most adversity that I've seen parents have to deal with in a long time. I can't imagine the toll this is taking on their entire family, mentally, physically, emotionally and financially.

Their oldest child, Carson, is on the spectrum and he is the sweetheart that just donated his bone marrow to his little sister, Elliot, who suffers from sickle cell. Ellie had to forgo some rigorous chemo treatments before receiving the stem cells and has now had to shave her beautiful locks off. Their brother, Benson, also has sickle cell, in which his situation is actually more dire. In the near future, he will have to go through the same procedure. In the midst of all of this, bills are still coming, work days are being missed, and Elliot has to continue to stay in the hospital for a total of 2 months. There is so much to their story that it's too much to type, but Brittany and Vicktor have been transparent in documenting their journey along the way on Facebook, if you would like to follow them.
