Carly's Irish Internship!

Hi! My name is Carly, and I am getting my Master's in Arts Administration at the University of New Orleans. I was recently offered an internship at the acclaimed Galway International Arts Festival (www.giaf.ie), and they want me to be in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland, for 3 months this summer. This is an incredible opportunity for my career as an arts administrator, for my personal growth, and for the entire UNO program, as not many students get this kind of opportunity.
Right now, I cannot afford to fund this adventure on my own. I work full-time in addition to attending graduate school, but it won't be enough to go abroad. Since my goal is to participate in the international arts community in my career, this will be an invaluable experience. I am asking for $4,000 to cover my flight, housing, meals, transportation, and travel insurance. I will pay for incidentals and any extra expenses on my own. This campaign will terminate at the beginning of May, as I will leave on May 15th and plan to be back before school starts in mid-August.
With the current state of education in Louisiana, UNO will not be able to offer funding and therefore cannot guarantee that I will be able to take this opportunity. Your gift would make this happen, and it would be the first step in my pursuit of a meaningful arts career, one in which I can eventually give back to others the same creative passion my studies have given me.
