Chi siamo?

L’Associazione no profit Skatepark Coperto Vanja nasce ad aprile 2008 in memoria di Vanja Kojic, un giovane asconese deceduto nel 2004 all'età di 18 anni in un incidente stradale. Allora sua madre Dragana e suo fratello Igor decidono di realizzare il sogno di una vita di Vanja: uno Skatepark. Per dare concretezza al suo sogno e dei suoi amici, l’Associazione Skatepark Coperto Vanja inaugura lo Skatepark Vanja il 25 luglio 2009, a cinque anni dalla scomparsa di Vanja.

Cosa facciamo?

L'Associazione Skatepark Coperto Vanja gestisce lo Skatepark Coperto Vanja, un luogo d'incontro per bambini, adolescenti e giovani dove divertirsi con skate, pattini, monopattini e BMX in una struttura sicura e accogliente.

Vengono inoltre organizzati diversi eventi come gare di skate e graffiti, lezioni di skate, danze e concerti, feste di compleanno.

L’Associazione è anche attiva nella realizzazione di progetti umanitari: al suo diciottesimo e ultimo compleanno Vanja aveva deciso di sostenere la costruzione di un pozzo di acqua in Ghana, grazie ai regali ricevuti. Il pozzo è stato realizzato e porta il suo nome.

Il desiderio di Vanja e di suo fratello Igor di aiutare i più deboli continua quindi a vivere nell’Associazione Skatepark Coperto Vanja, la quale sostiene progetti come “Un bicchiere di latte per i bambini di Hanga (Africa)” ogni qualvolta i costi di gestione dello Saktepark siano stati coperti.

Qual è il nostro obiettivo?

Lo Skatepark Coperto Vanja già ospita bambini, adolescenti, giovani, i loro amici e familiari per incoraggiare la socializzazione e l’aggregazione in un luogo sicuro e inclusivo. Il nostro obiettivo è assicurare continuità, rinnovare e ristrutturare lo Skatepark e le sue rampe.

Perché abbiamo bisogno dello Skatepark Vanja?

Lo Skatepark Coperto Vanja è stato creato per offrire uno spazio coperto agli skater di tutte le età e per tutti i livelli di abilità ed è l’unico Skatepark coperto in Ticino. L’attività skateboardistica è salutare e divertente, aiuta a promuovere l'esercizio fisico, crea equilibrio tra corpo e mente, sostiene lo sviluppo delle abilità motorie e, soprattutto, è fonte di scambi sociali e comunicativi tra bambini, adolescenti, giovani, famiglie e tutti gli interessati.

Perché abbiamo bisogno di aiuto?

L’aiuto è volto al rinnovamento della struttura, al suo rilancio e alla sua sostenibilità sociale.

L'Associazione è composta da volontari che dedicano il loro tempo e le loro risorse per mantenere lo Skatepark Vanja in buone condizioni, ma mancano i finanziamenti per continuare l'attività in modo adeguato.

Le rampe, costruite nel 2009 con design ideati dal giovane Vanja insieme a suo fratello Igor, devono essere rinnovate/sostituite e questa procedura è molto costosa. Inoltre, lo Skatepark Coperto Vanja deve essere trasferito in altri spazi entro la fine del 2024 in quanto i locali attuali non saranno più disponibili - ciò comporterà ulteriori costi in un momento in cui l'Associazione è già oberata da difficoltà finanziarie.

Wer sind wir?

Der gemeinnützige Verein Skatepark Coperto Vanja wurde im April 2008 zum Gedenken an Vanja Kojic gegründet, einen Jungen aus Ascona, der 2004 im Alter von 18 Jahren bei einem Autounfall ums Leben kam. Damals beschlossen seine Mutter Dragana und sein Bruder Igor, Vanjas Lebenstraum zu verwirklichen: einen Skatepark zu gründen. Um den Traum von Vanja und seinen Freunden zu realisieren, eröffnete der Verein Skatepark Coperto Vanja den Vanja Skatepark Indoor am 25. Juli 2009, genau fünf Jahre nach Vanjas Tod.

Was machen wir?

Der Verein Skatepark Coperto Vanja betreibt den Vanja Indoor Skatepark, einen Treffpunkt für Kinder, Jugendliche und junge Leute, wo sie sich mit Skateboards, Rollschuhen, Trottinetts und BMX in einer sicheren und einladenden Anlage vergnügen können.

Es werden auch verschiedene Veranstaltungen wie Skate- und Graffiti-Wettbewerbe, Skatekurse, Tänze und Konzerte sowie Geburtstagspartys organisiert.

Der Verein ist auch in humanitären Projekten aktiv: An seinem 18. und letzten Geburtstag beschloss Vanja, dank der Geschenke, die er erhielt, an dem Bau eines Brunnens in Ghana teilzunehmen. Der Brunnen wurde gebaut und trägt ihren Namen.

Der Wunsch von Vanja und seinem Bruder Igor, den Schwächsten zu helfen, lebt also in dem Verein Skatepark Coperto Vanja weiter, der Projekte wie "Ein Glas Milch für die Kinder von Hanga (Afrika)" unterstützt, sobald die Betriebskosten des Sakteparks gedeckt sind.

Was ist unser Ziel?

Der Vanja Indoor Skatepark ist bereits ein Ort, an dem sich Kinder, Jugendliche, junge Leute, ihre Freunde und Familienmitglieder treffen, um sich an einem sicheren und integrativen Ort zusammen zu unterhalten. Unser Ziel ist es, die Kontinuität zu gewährleisten, den Skatepark mit seinen Rampen zu renovieren und sie zu erneuern.

Warum brauchen wir den Vanja Skatepark?

Der Indoor-Skatepark Vanja wurde geschaffen, um Skateboardern jeden Alters und Levels einen überdachten Platz zu bieten – es ist jedenfalls der einzige Indoor-Skatepark im Tessin. Skateboarding ist gesund und macht Spass, fördert die körperliche Bewegung, sorgt für das Gleichgewicht zwischen Körper und Geist, unterstützt die Entwicklung der motorischen Fähigkeiten und ist vor allem eine Quelle des sozialen und kommunikativen Austauschs zwischen Kindern, Jugendlichen, Familien und allen Beteiligten.

Die Beihilfe ist für die Renovierung der Anlage, ihre Wiederbelebung und soziale Nachhaltigkeit gedacht. Der Verein besteht aus Freiwilligen, die ihre Zeit und ihre Ressourcen einsetzen, um den Vanja-Skatepark in gutem Zustand zu halten, aber es fehlt ihm an ausreichenden Mitteln.

Die Rampen, die 2009 nach Entwürfen des jungen Vanja und seines Bruders Igor gebaut wurden, müssen erneuert/ersetzt werden, was sehr teuer ist. Außerdem muss der überdachte Vanja Skatepark bis Ende 2024 an einen anderen Ort verlegt werden, da die derzeitigen Räumlichkeiten nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen werden - dies wird zusätzliche Kosten zu einem Zeitpunkt verursachen, zu dem die Vereinigung bereits mit finanziellen Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen hat.

Ein Beitrag zur Crowdfunding-Kampagne für den Vanja Indoor Skatepark bedeutet:

Who we are

The non-profit association Skatepark Coperto Vanja was founded in April 2008 in memory of Vanja Kojic, a young man from Ascona who died in 2004 at the age of 18 in a motor accident. Then his mother Dragana and brother Igor decided to realise Vanja's lifelong dream: a Skatepark. To make his and his friends' dream come true, the Vanja Covered Skatepark Association opened the Vanja Skatepark on 25 July 2009, five years after Vanja's passing.

What do we do?

The Associazione Skatepark Coperto Vanja runs the Skatepark Coperto Vanja, a meeting place for children, teenagers and young people where they can have fun with skateboards, skates, scooters and BMX bikes in a safe and welcoming facility.

Various events such as skate and graffiti competitions, skate lessons, dances and concerts, and birthday parties are also organised.

The Association is also active in humanitarian projects: on his 18th and last birthday, Vanja decided to support the building of a water well in Ghana, thanks to the gifts he had received. The well was built and bears his name.

Vanja and his brother Igor's desire to help the weakest continues to live on in the Skatepark Coperto Vanja Association, which supports projects such as "A glass of milk for the children of Hanga (Africa)" whenever the running costs of the Saktepark have been covered.

Why do we need the Vanja Skatepark?

The Vanja Indoor Skatepark was created to offer a covered space for skateboarders of all ages and skill levels and is the only covered skatepark in Ticino. Skateboarding is healthy and fun, helps promote physical exercise, creates balance between body and mind, supports the development of motor skills and, above all, is a source of social and communicative exchange between children, adolescents, young people, families and all those involved.

Why do we need help?

The aid is aimed at the renovation of the facility, its revitalisation and social sustainability.

The Association is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to keep the Vanja Skatepark in good condition, but it lacks adequate funding.

The ramps, built in 2009 with designs created by young Vanja together with his brother Igor, need to be renewed/replaced and this procedure is very expensive. In addition, the Vanja Indoor Skatepark must be relocated to other spaces by the end of 2024 as the current premises will no longer be available - this will result in additional costs at a time when the Association is already burdened with financial difficulties.

Contributing to the crowdfunding campaign for the Vanja Indoor Skatepark means:
