Help Us Find Sophia – Support for Private Investigator Costs

My name is Emily, and my 18-year-old sister, Sophia Flessas, has been missing since July 16, 2025. She was traveling alone via Greyhound from Maryland to Portland, Oregon, but never made it to her destination. Her last known location was in New York City on July 17, and we haven’t heard from her since and never made her connecting bus ride. Sophia is a high risk for trafficking and exploitation due to traveling alone interstate. 

Sophia has long struggled with depression and anxiety. She left Maryland with no working phone — only a Wi-Fi-only device, a $200 Visa gift card, and a list of family numbers. She was last seen wearing green plaid sweatpants, a black shirt, and black and white shoes, and carrying a black purse, backpack, duffle bag, and a distinctive lime green suitcase.

Our family has reached out to police departments, hospitals, and shelters across multiple states, but progress has been slow and limited. We’re now seeking help to hire a licensed private investigator to continue the search and uncover what happened to Sophia as she has no history of any disappearances like this.
