Vāṇīsāgara was established to solve a persistent issue in the digital distribution of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s literature: the widespread reliance on degraded photoscans and haphazardly compiled PDFs. Readers should no longer have to navigate crooked alignments, faded text, or compromised digital formatting. What began as a focused, year-long solo initiative to rigorously typeset the Bhagavad-gītā As It Is (1972 Edition) has scaled into a comprehensive archival project for the rest of the books, too.
Operating entirely as an independent, single-developer infrastructure, Vāṇīsāgara brings uncompromising technical standards to these original books. By utilizing the advanced typesetting capabilities of XeLaTeX alongside Noto Serif typography, the geometry of every page is scientifically calculated. This systematic approach guarantees that every character, diacritic, and margin renders natively and flawlessly in 4K resolution.
This archive is engineered and maintained from the ground up by one person. Keeping this server operational and freely accessible requires ongoing technical resources. To support the transition to a permanent domain (https://www.vanisagara.co/) and bypass the use of complicated hosting addresses, external funding is required.
