Your life hasn’t been “a walk in the park” by any means, as you already have a victorious battle with cancer under your belt. However, these are events of the past and you only have your sights set on a future with your family.Now fast forward....You’re 19, in a hospital bed surrounded by the love and support of your mother, sister, husband, and 9 month old son (who you carried during chemo) as your cancer has come back stronger than ever. “Your days are numbered”...words that have been echoed since the the birth of your son at 29 weeks, are becoming more real with each minute that passes by. This is exactly what’s happening to Vanie at this very moment. After over a years stay at the Ronald McDonald House of the Capital Region, Vanie’s family is bracing themselves as well as they can for life after her passing.The outcome and illness is something that can’t be changed, but an IMMEDIATE IMPACT can be made right here, right now, by YOU.
