Hello family and friends. My parents have been farming for over 10+ years and their farm is literally all they have. Everything they depend on is in their farm, but unfortunately, a few days ago their shed caught on fire and burnt down, along with all of their gardening tools, seeds, chickens, 2 tractors, and many more. Altogether, the total amount of loss was worth about $20,000 and nothing was able to be salvaged. The summer time is the biggest time of the year for a gardener, because it’s the time where their crops are fully grown and ready to be picked but with the shed and all of their equipment in ashes, it's going to be very difficult to continue on with the rest of the year.
Attached are some photos of the scene where the fire happened and all of the equipment that were burned down. Replacing all of the equipment and everything they need to restart will be very difficult, but with a little help from friends and family, we’re hoping we can help my parents pick back up. The farm and shed was something very precious to them, anything given will sincerely be appreciated.
