Hey Friends and Family!
I was nominated by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars to embark on the study abroad trip of a lifetime. Being given the opportunity to travel across the country to either Beijing, China or Sydney, Australia, I have chosen to explore the city of Beijing, as well as travel on a cultural excursion to Hong Kong.
In China, I will meet with members of the European Chamber of Commerce, walk in the footsteps of emperors, interact with Chinese finance, marketing, and business professionals, and gain a cultural and corporate insight from the cultural and business differences between China and America.
The money you donate will be directly used to cover the cost of the program, airfare, and the cultrual excusion after the academic and leadership program has concluded.
I am so honored to have been nominated to partake in such a tremendous opportunity and I cannot be more thankful to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars for selecting me as a new member to participate in this program. I would also love to take advantage of this opportunity because a majority of the program costs have been taken care of on behalf of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Many study abroad programs do not offer the amazing opportunities to network with and learn from business professionals overseas as this program is centered around. Being a Hospitality and Tourism Management Major, international business is one of my greatest interests and I belive that this program will truly be a life changing experience for me.
The program dates are from May 24th-June 6th of 2016. I will be accepting donations until the middle of May 2016.
When wondering what I would like for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and birthday gifts, donating to this fund would be the greatest gift you could give me! :)
