Vanessa's Journey

On May 15 our family found out that Vanessa was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma which is a type of bone cancer. This was something we were not expecting. Vanessa is a hard worker, caring sister, loving mother and a awesome wife. Chemotherapy and surgery is part of the process. She will be unable to work because she needs to focus on her health and well-being. Between Vanessa and I our incomes combined allowed us to keep our family together financially. Without her contribution we will be facing some serious challenges especially with 3 children. This is something we do not want Vanessa to worry about on her healing journey. 
Today was the beginning of a year long journey to beat Cancer.  With love and support she will be able to get through this challenge. Please pray for Vanessa and our family.

El 15 de Mayo Vanessa fue diagnosticada con Osteosarcoma que es un tipo de Cancer en el hueso. Esto fue algo de repente y no lo esperabamos. Vanessa es una persona trabajadora, buena hermana, madre carinosa, y una buena esposa. El tratamiento consiste de chemoterapia y sirugia. Lamentablemente no va poder trabajar para enfocarse en su salud y bien estar. Con el sueldo de Vanessa y yo saliamos adelante pero ahora que no va poder trabajar se nos va hacer dificil. Esto tambien es algo que no queremos que Vanessa se preocupe.  Hoy dia fue el primer dia de este proceso. Por favor oren por Vanessa y nuestra familia.
