Vanessa’s SkyDive for Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue
Donation protected
Vanessa Hemstock, Trustee and treasured right hand of Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue, is going to do a very scary 15000ft skydive on the 25th September 2022.
Vanessa is absolutely terrified at even the thought of this challenge but she is going to put her fears behind her to raise as much money as she possibly can to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary for Hungary Hearts, to show her love and devotion to the dogs in Deathrow of Hungary.
Vanessa cares for many of the rescue dogs who arrive to the UK. Without her support and love we would not be able to rescue anywhere near as many dogs as we do or provide backup support to all our adopters and fosterers. She truly is an angel to the charity and vital to the day to day running of Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue.
This amazing challenge is to raise awareness of the conditions in which the abandoned dogs in Hungary have to survive. Every day in Hungary thousands of dogs die unnecessarily in pain and need. Vanessa Hemstock has opened her heart and her home to save as many innocent lives as possible. She has dedicated her life to help rescue these abandoned dogs and find loving homes for them in UK.
" Every dog deserves the chance to feel love and comfort.. It makes my heart burst with love and pride when I see them finally happy in their loving homes after all they have been through. Since the charity started in 2012, the number of doggies has been saved and happily rehomed is 2238 little lives. I’m
amazed and so thankful for everyone involved saving them"
Can you support Vanessa with your donations to raise as much as possible and make this amazing and terrifying challenge as worthwhile as possible?
Who are we?
Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue is a Registered UK Charity. Founded in 2012 by Hilda Zilahi Barabas, it started as a Facebook page known as ‘Rescue Hungarian Dogs and Puppies for Adoption.’ We became a small charity in 2014 and awarded registered charity status in 2016. Our aim is to find loving homes for abandoned and neglected animals on death-row or on the streets in Hungary. Dogs don't understand borders and neither do we!
What we do?
Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue was born from a love for all dogs, irrespective of their shape, size or age, by people who want to make a difference to animal welfare. It was created to address a signifiant problem regarding the care and treatment of stray or abandoned dogs in Hungary.
