Twenty years ago, a shy freshman girl walked the halls of Ogden High (OHS), unsure of where she fit in. But she quickly found friendship, encouragement, and maybe just a little bit of confidence at a time when she needed it most. If you know Nessie, you’ll remember her heart; always kind, always genuine, always willing to make a new friend.
Now, two decades later, she’s stepping out in a big way and chasing a dream she’s held since childhood.
She recently competed in her very first beauty pageant and qualified for Nationals in Orlando this Thanksgiving. For her, this is more than just a pageant. It’s about self-worth, growth, and finally having the courage to pursue something she’s believed in quietly for years.
She’s hoping to raise funds to help cover travel, entrance fees, and other expenses to make this dream a reality. Her platform is she’s also working toward launching a modest fashion line focused on beautiful, affordable formalwear, and inspiring others who’ve felt like they don’t quite fit the mold.
If you’re part of the OHS family - or simply believe in supporting brave steps forward - please consider donating or sharing. Let’s help her get to Orlando. Let’s remind her that the support she felt 20 years ago is still with her today.
