It’s time. The big surgery in the morning! Not only did Max and I want to elope before surgery, but we are a blood and tissue match for kidney transplant. <3

After months of testing, rehabilitation, ruling out my seizures and my disease in remission - we got word we were officially a match.

This transplant is not a cure but further treatment to keep me alive. I still will have to ensure my disease stays in remission, but I will get a second chance of life and will continue to fight my disease.

Almost lost my life more than I want to remember and was told no many times when it came to transplant and testing. It has been a painful rollercoaster but I’m grateful where we are now!

Thank you to those that donated two years ago. It helped so much for monthly expenses, medical bills, treatments, medication and appointments.
