Vanessa's cancer care.

Hello family and friends.

Unfortunately, this is not my beloved Vanessa updating the page. Instead, this is her fiancé, Rodney sharing the updated news.

On May 30, 2024, my beautiful, fierce, smart, compassionate, loving Queen, Vanessa Martinez passed away. Vanessa was my bad-ass warrior, and I had the pleasure of standing by her side in this fight till the end. She was able to pass at home surrounded by loved ones and our animals. Vanessa will forever be missed. The loss has been felt tremendously by those that loved her (which were many).

In the next couple of weeks, the family will update this page with more information. We are planning a small gathering, but we would also like to plan something where more people could attend.

Thank you all for the love and support that you gave Vanessa. I was smiling with her when she was happy, and holding her hand when she was sad. When those sad moments occurred, I would read the comments left on her GoFundMe page. You all gave her the energy and love to fight till the end.

I love you Nena to the moon and back and around the world!
