Darryl’s beloved sister, Vanessa Grant-Whitfield battled health challenges over the last 15 years including diabetes, dialysis, celiac disease, a pacemaker and waiting on both liver and heart transplant list for the past 5 years. She fought these ailments with great grace and passion. Her zest for life and love was enriched by her 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 12 siblings.
Unfortunately, she passed away on August 1st 2016 at 5:01pm. Her health battles left her financially unsettled and defunded. We are taking up donations among family and friends to help fund her funeral services scheduled for Tuesday, Aug 16th at Carl C. Burnet, 456 S. Franklin St, Hempstead, NY 11550. We are humbled and grateful for any contribution both small and large, every little bit counts. Bless our beloved Vanessa Grant-Whitfield, her enduring spirit graces us. She’s among our angels above along with her deceased husband and parents. Thank you for your kind words, prayers and consideration.
