Vanessa's Victory

On  February 7th, 2019 at approximately 7:00 am, my little sister Vanessa had a Massive Aneurysm rupture on the right side of her brain.  She was found blue, bloated, and un-responsive without a pulse. CPR was started by her boyfriend and taken by ambulance to the hospital.  Her heart had stopped, she was considered dead on arrival.  The staff didn't let her go, and successfully brought her back (thank God!) , she held on and fought her way through it all to come back home.  The doctors and nurses at Mission Hospital, in the SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) had to do major surgery to stop the Aneurysm from bleading by clipping it, they had to remove the top and side part of her skull to enable swelling of her brain.   They also had to perform several evasive procedures to stop spasms , and to regulate her blood flow, because they also found on the other side of her brain,  another Aneurysm,  however it had not ruptured yet.  She was in an induced coma for about a month.  The Dr's and nurses were surprised she had made it thus far.  While we always had hope, it seemed pretty bleak.  It wasn’t until she came out of the coma, that we realized that she was and is a miracle.   Shortly after Vanessa started to be evaluated they did a little rehabilitation and then transferred to Kindred hospital for rehab.  It was there that Vanessa made leaps and bounds.  A miracle that God blessed us with.  Thanks to all of the Prayers, & all of the Nurses, Doctors, and especially all the love, she was conquering and proving our initial beliefs to be true. A full recovery is now possible.  She had her sense of humor still and was able to care for her hospital roommates when they needed attention.  She became the star of the hospital after being a pain in their butts.  (At first, she wouldn't listen to the nurses about not getting up out of bed so they had to have a babysitter watch her, next to her bed at all times.) She is now doing wonderfully.  However, Now this is where you come in, she is in dyer need of major financial assistance for everything, including the medical bills that she will be incurring for the second aneurysm that she will have to have coiled at a later date.  She had insurance but have utilized all of her benefits. There is no amount of help that is too small. Vanessa CANNOT be subjected to ANY STRESS AT ALL! She risks another rupture and we would probably lose her if that were to happen.  So I am reaching out to you all.  A donation of any size would greatly be appreciated, to help.  Vanessa is a fighter...stubborn, sweet, appreciatively grateful.  Thank you for any amount that you can contribute. ❤️

Have a great day.
