Help us bring women's voices to the stage. Women are underrepresented in American theater, and we are out to change that in our community. In the spring of 2019, VOICES will produce an original theatre piece created by a group of diverse local women artists.
We need your help. The monies raised from this fundraiser will help us cover the cost of production materials and rent a space. We are also committed to paying the women we hire!
An ongoing study by the Lilly Awards in partnership with the Dramatists Guild has found that only 22% of the plays produced in the U.S. in the last three years were written by women. Only 22%.
