Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
It is with profound sadness that we come together to share the untimely passing of Vanessa Wambura. At the tender age of 20, Vanessa departed from us unexpectedly on August 30, 2023, following a brief and sudden illness. Vanessa was a deeply loving individual whose radiant charm and exuberant passion graced the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. As we gather our thoughts during this trying time, we find solace in the memories Vanessa gifted us.
Vanessa is survived by her loving parents, Victor and Mary Wambura, and her beloved sisters, Venus and Serena. She was on the brink of commencing her second year pursuing a Nursing Degree at Georgian College, a path she pursued with unwavering dedication. Her heart brimmed with a passion for aiding young children, recently evidenced by her enthusiastic involvement at a trampoline park dedicated to nurturing young minds. Looking forward, Vanessa harboured aspirations of utilizing her skills to care for the vulnerable, both children and adults, as a devoted nurse.
Our collective heartache at Vanessa's departure knows no bounds, compounded by the unexpected financial burden of arranging a fitting farewell. We are determined to grant Vanessa the dignified memorial she rightfully deserves, not only to honor her memory but also to offer us the chance to bid a final farewell. Therefore, we humbly request your assistance in covering the expenses related to Vanessa’s funeral service. Every contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference and serve as a testament to the unity of our community during these trying times.
Your generosity will serve to alleviate the unforeseen financial burden placed upon Vanessa's family during this period of mourning.
In honoring Vanessa's spirit, let us come together to celebrate her life and the imprint she has left on us all.
With gratitude,
The Wambura Family
