My name is Krista, I am Andrew Mckennett’s fiancé. Andrew is Vanessa Mckennett’s eldest son. In addition to Andrew, are his siblings Justin Sullivan and Sarah Sullivan, Vanessa’s mother, Yolanda Mckennett, Vanessa’s sisters, Maria and Jessie Mckennett. On Saturday, March 5, 2022, Vanessa Rosario Mckennett went to heaven. On that day we lost a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandma, and a best friend. She was, and forever will be, Vanessa the GREAT. She was that type of person that could NEVER be replaced.

Some things she loved:

she loved to paint
she loved shopping at discount stores and swap meets
she loved her family
she loved God
she loved her dog
she loved her country
she loved the hot sunny weather
she loved going to concerts, specifically punk and rock
she loved making up her own vocabulary/sounds
she loved making people laugh/happy
she loved the color purple
she loved buying knick knacks for people she cared about

She was truly ONE OF A KIND. No one could ever compare to her. She was beautiful inside and out. She had the biggest heart. She always gave the most honest advice. She would do anything for the ones she loved.

I could go on and on about her. I’m sure any of you reading this could do the same. We truly appreciate every single one of you for reaching out, coming by, calling, sending flowers or food….This was such an unexpected death for this family. Anything you can donate to make this the most special memorial for Vanessa would be incredibly appreciated. We don’t have a “goal” or expectation for this. We just want her to have the most special service, because she deserves that and so much more…
