Vanessa Mitchell - support in her time of grief

On Easter Weekend, our dear friend Vanessa's partner, Brent passed away suddenly from a medical event. His passing saw Vanessa not only lose her partner in life but her soul mate, best friend and love of her life. Brent was Vanessa's rock when she lost her sister in 2019 and again in 2021 when Vanessa conquered cancer; Brent was there for her throughout her treatment, and life was moving forward.

Earlier in the year, they lost an investment property through the floods in Murwillumbah, but they could still count all the blessings and good things moving forward in their lives in true Brent and Vanessa style.

Sadly, with Brents's unexpected and heart-breaking passing, Vanessa has been financially left in a difficult position. No one is ever truly prepared for the financial implications and how long it takes to navigate the complexities of estate laws when someone does pass.

 

Vanessa had not returned to work when her cancer treatment was completed as she is slowly recovering from the treatment itself. Now with the raw grief and heartbreak of losing Brent so suddenly and still recovering physically from treatment, she will not be returning to work anytime soon.

Vanessa is a loving, generous soul who is a blessing in so many ways in the lives of people she knows and those that she has nursed over the years in Laverton WA, the rest of WA , NT and East Coast where she had settled.
